Extra person charge

  • Fees per night for the cabins are for 1-2 people.
  • See each cabin's listed for the extra charge per person over 2.
  • Please let us know in advance if there are more than 2 as part of the booking.

Pets

  • All (well-behaved) dogs are welcome in all the cabins via a fee of $10 per pet, per night.
  • Please note there may be other guests with pets on the property, so yours must get along with other animals as well as people.
  • Please do not leave pets unattended in the cabins.
  • Please do not bring dogs that bark at people.
  • Please remember their beds and supplies.

Shared spaces

  • Geronimo, Shamballa, and Trinity cabins are in relative close proximity facing Arapaho Meadow, with a communal fire pit (when not in fire season), large charcoal barbecue (charcoal not supplied), two 16-foot slab tables and chairs, and seemingly in range of the WiFi coming from the main house.
  • If there are guests in the other cabins, please be mindful of sharing these spaces and keeping noise to a minimum.
  • Note: Serenity and Radiance cabins offer more privacy.

Cell reception / WiFi

  • There is little to no cell reception on the entire property.
  • There is (free) Wi-Fi available outside the main house, typically 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Wi-Fi is also pick-upable near the communal fire pit area.

Fires / Firewood

  • Each cabin is stocked with kindling and split dry firewood during the winter and cold months.
  • In each cabin is an envelope for cash donations (based on $10 per night used).
  • For fires in the pitfire, the suggested donation is $25 per bundle.
  • No fire pits allowed during hazardous extreme dry weather.
  • You may also bring your own firewood.

Electicity

  • All electrical power needs for the cabins are supplied by our modern off-grid solar system.
  • As such, please do not use: electrical blankets, electric coffee makers, toasters, electric heaters, hair dryers, etc., as this will affect all cabins and potentially shut the power down.

Smoking / fire safety

  • During high fire season (summer and early fall) guests must be extremely careful with fires and smoking.
  • Smoking is allowed on the cabin decks, around fire pits, by the picnic areas, and in vehicles, but not in the outback on trails, as this is prohibited by the local forest service.

Water

  • Water out of the facets is drinkable well water from the property.
  • For fresh spring water, you can use the spring across from the Radiance cabin.

Gravel roads / winter

  • Two-wheel drive vehicles with good clearance can easily navigate most roads in and thru the property.
  • The final 1.5+ miles is on a forest service-maintained gravel road and can be driven by most normal clearance vehicles, however in winter (December to April) we often get snow wherein 4-wheel drive vehicles — or quality chains for 2-wheel drive vehicles — are recommended / required.

Support

  • We're here to support your stay however we can, so if you have any questions or are in need of any assistance about anything, please come around the main house and look for Adam, Daniel, or anyone else serving the property. If no one is around the house, check up around Geronimo Lodge. You can also try Adam on his cell via (530) 265-2836.
